Foundation For Democratic Journalism > Our Certifications

‘Foundation for Democratic Journalism’ is established under the Indian laws made by the Government of India in parliament for ‘Not for Profit Organisation’.

 

The ‘Foundation for Democratic Journalism’ is a not for profit organisation and is fully certified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, under tsection 8 of the companies act. 

 

The income Tax act 1961 authorises FDJ to take donations in any amount targeted to be used for the fulfilment and the commitments made in ‘Memorandum of Association’.

 
(Donations made to Foundation for Democratic Journalism have been notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under section 80G of Income Tax act 1961)
